Pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, notice is hereby given of the intention to introduce legislation in the 86th Legislature of the State of Texas relating to the creation of the SH130 Municipal Management District No. 1 of Travis County, providing authority for the District to impose taxes and assessments and issue bonds. , - The Act proposes to create an municipal management district to operating under Section 52, Article III and Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution and Chapter 375, Texas Local Government Code, to be known as SH130 Municipal Management District No. 1 of Travis County, over 1138 acres in Travis County, more particularly described as follows: - 4 tracts generally located west of SH130, north of FM973, south of Bloor Road and east of Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park. Tract 1 is generally located East of SH130, West of Gilbert Lane, South of FM973 and North of Decker Lake Road. Tract 2 is located North of FM 969 and West of Burleson Manor Road and Tracts 3 and 4 are located South of FM 969 just South of the Burleson Manor Road and North of the Colorado River. The District’s creation will be subject to approval at a confirmation election if the legislation is passed - All interested persons will, therefore, take notice of the matters and facts set out in the foregoing statement of the substance of the proposed legislation as required by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas.
