NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION - To the Registered Voters of the City of Sunset Valley, Texas: - Notice is hereby given that the polling place listed below will be open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M., on November 8, 2016, for voting in a General Election to elect the Mayor, two (2) City Council Members, and to vote for or against Proposition No 1: The creation of the Sunset Valley Crime Control and Prevention District dedicated to crime reduction programs and the adoption of a proposed local sales and use tax at a rate of one-eighth of one percent. Notice is hereby given that the polling place listed below will be open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M., on November 8, 2016, for voting in a Special Election to elect one (1) City Council Member for a one year term. LOCATION OF POLLING PLACE: 3205 Jones Road, Sunset Valley, Texas. Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted at any of the early voting polling locations provided by Travis County, Monday – Saturday 7 A.M. – 7 P.M., and Sunday Noon – 6 P.M., beginning on Monday, October 24, 2016 and ending Friday, November 4, 2016.
